Who I am

This website, pattomas.com, is run by Pat Tomas, a sole operator based in New Zealand who helps small businesses put artificial intelligence to work. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email me at hello@pattomas.com.

What information I collect

• Information you give me. When you contact me by email, WhatsApp or a form on this site, I receive your name, your contact details and whatever you choose to tell me about your business.
• Usage information. Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

How I use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and provide the free assessment or services you ask for.
• To send you information you have requested and follow up about our conversation.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Social media publishing (LinkedIn)

To publish updates about my own work on my own LinkedIn profile, this site uses the official LinkedIn API. That integration only ever posts content on my behalf to my own account. It does not collect, read or store any information about you, your LinkedIn profile, or your connections.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

When I am running ads on Facebook or Instagram, this site also loads the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies so I can see which ads lead to real enquiries and avoid showing you the same ad repeatedly. You can control how Meta uses your data in your Meta account settings, and browser-level cookie blocking stops it too.

Who I share data with

I use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and my business, and your information may be processed by them only to provide those services:

• Google (Analytics) — website usage measurement.
• Email and messaging providers (such as Gmail, Resend and WhatsApp) — to receive and reply to your messages.

How long I keep it

I keep the messages and contact details you send me for as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of our dealings, and no longer than necessary. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you. To do so, just email hello@pattomas.com and I'll sort it out. This site is operated from New Zealand and handles personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020; if you contact me from elsewhere, I'll honour the equivalent rights where they apply.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time.
